Ryan Rozicki Signs Multi-Fight Deal With Zuffa Boxing

Ryan Rozicki has signed a multi-fight deal with zuffa boxing, adding the Canadian cruiserweight to a newly stacked stable. The 21-win fighter, known as “The Bruiser, ” enters the promotional setup with 20 of his victories coming inside the distance. His debut for zuffa boxing will be announced in the coming weeks.
Rozicki joins a loaded cruiserweight lineup
The move places Rozicki alongside champion Jai Opetaia, former world titlist Chris Billam-Smith and top contender Brandon Glanton. That makes zuffa boxing a fresh home for one of the division’s most aggressive punchers, and it gives Rozicki a new platform after years of stopping opponents in front of sold-out crowds in Nova Scotia.
Rozicki’s only defeat came in 2021, when he lost on points to heavyweight contender Oscar Rivas. Since then, he has gone unbeaten in nine fights. He has also already boxed for a WBC interim title, drawing with Yamil Alberto Peralta in their 2024 rematch.
Knockout record keeps the pressure on
The numbers around Rozicki are stark: 21 professional victories, 20 by stoppage. That record is the main reason his signing matters now. zuffa boxing is bringing in a fighter with a clear identity, and Rozicki’s style has repeatedly turned his bouts into short, violent nights.
His recent form has only strengthened that case. He scored a win in the year before last by halting Olanrewaju Durodola, and Durodola had previously gone five rounds with Richard Riakporhe and seven rounds with Ilunga Makabu in their world title fight. Rozicki then last fought in March, when he stopped Gerardo Mellado in the second round.
What Rozicki said after the deal
Rozicki framed the move as the start of a new phase in his career. “I’m excited for this next chapter and the opportunity to be part of what Zuffa is building, ” Rozicki said. “My team has done an incredible job getting me to this point and making sure everything is in place for me to succeed at the highest level. ”
He added: “This is a big platform, and I’m ready to get to work and make a statement. ” That message fits the profile he has built in the ring, where zuffa boxing now has a recognized puncher with a proven ability to finish fights and handle step-up opposition.
What happens next
The immediate next step is timing. Zuffa Boxing has not yet announced Rozicki’s debut, but that update is expected in the coming weeks. Until then, the signing itself is the headline: a hard-punching Canadian cruiserweight, a multi-fight commitment, and a new stage that could quickly place him in the middle of the division’s next wave. For Rozicki, zuffa boxing is now the setting for the statement he says he is ready to make.
