Arnott’s axes fan-favourite Tim Tam as Iced VoVo flavour takes over

arnott’s has discontinued Tim Tam Strawberries & Cream and replaced it with a new Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo. The switch takes effect from today, with the new biscuits sold exclusively at Coles supermarkets in place of the former flavour. Arnott’s says the move builds on a long-running collaboration and reflects growing interest in the classic biscuit.

Tim Tam swap hits shelves today

Tim Tam Strawberries & Cream, which launched in 2025 as a Coles exclusive, has been removed to make room for the new release. Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo has taken the collaboration with Coles “to the next level, ” with the new flavour now replacing the discontinued product.

The new Tim Tam is being positioned as one of Arnott’s most iconic biscuit blends in its 160-year history. It will be available exclusively at Coles supermarkets nationwide from the middle of April at an RRP of $6. 00.

The new version combines the Tim Tam chocolate base with raspberry jam and coconut-flavoured cream, drawing on the familiar Iced VoVo profile. Arnott’s has said the flavour is designed to deliver a uniquely Australian twist on indulgence while keeping close to what fans already enjoy.

Arnott’s says fans wanted more Iced VoVo

Francesca Reid, Global Marketing Lead at Tim Tam, said the company is listening closely to what fans want from Australia’s Favourite Chocolate Biscuit. She said a lamington Tim Tam has long been on the wish list, but the company believed it could do better with the new Iced VoVo-inspired release.

“Our ongoing collaborations with Coles reflect a shared focus on blending nostalgia and fresh innovation, with Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo delivering just that, ” Reid said. “We know Aussies will love this uniquely Australian twist on indulgence. ”

Arnott’s also said Tim Tam inspired by Jatz has been the most popular of its flavour collaborations, with more than 2. 4 million packets sold since launching in 2024. The company added that Tim Tam remains Australia’s favourite chocolate biscuit.

Why the Iced VoVo label matters

Iced VoVo biscuits first appeared in 1906 and have remained a familiar part of Australian history. Tim Tam followed in 1964, arriving 58 years later and becoming a staple in its own right. Arnott’s has recently extended the Iced VoVo name across other products, including Iced VoVo Hot Cross Buns and Iced VoVo ice cream at Coles.

Francesca Reid said Iced VoVo has seen a surge in popularity in recent years, with interest rising after the ice cream collaboration, the continued success of the hot cross buns, and the release of The Arnott’s Cookbook. She said those collaborations show how iconic flavours can evolve while staying true to what people love.

What happens next

For shoppers who have been buying Tim Tam Strawberries & Cream, the change is immediate and the replacement is already underway. The next key marker is the mid-April rollout at Coles, when arnott’s says the new Tim Tam inspired by Iced VoVo will be widely available nationwide. For now, the company is banking on a familiar flavour profile, strong brand nostalgia, and the pull of arnott’s in the aisle.
